Spontaneous combustion Empty Spontaneous combustion

Post by Rickett Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:02 pm

In certain circumstances when I rub my fingers together they start to produce smoke. At the moment this is quite amusing to show my friends but I fear that friction between other body parts may lead to spontaneous combustion.

I asked the doctor but he just referred me to the fire station.

To be serious what are your thoughts on spontaneous combustion?

I'm pretty sure SC is a load of crap, but I honestly haven't looked into very deeply. To the best of my knowledge it's a pseudo science.

See: Homeopathic remedy.

Spontaneous combustion. . .Bullshit!

I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

I think it could be possible. Maybe it's one of those freak scientific happenings.

I'm sure people have combusted. I doubt it was spontaneous. If people combust, it's for a reason.
