Wish I had a garage! I cleaned out Ingles garden center by buying lots of plants and mulch. Wish I had more money to spend. I'd go back tomorrow. Had to unload three truckloads of stuff. Got my work cut out for me this weekend.

Let's see. I went to the hess in granite falls for cheap-o gas.
Got some squares. Sat at the house with lish for a while doing nothing (my favorite thing to do).
Bought some 40's.
Went to Scott's house. Drank the 40's and played mortal kombat.
Beat Scott's ass.
Went home around 2. Right now I'm drinking some, and talking to you guys. It's been a productive day. At some point, I'll start recording.

Well yesterday I went to the gym, walked a mile and half (too hot to go any further), had lunch with my good friend, had dinner with my hubby, and hung out with my daughter and her friends a while.

Today I woke up and ate a burrito, laughed at CDC's misfortune (not really), and watched some Married with Children.
Yesterday, Josh and I went to our friend's and played some MC vs. DC. Drank a bit, and the usual. Oh and I wort some on a new story.

Re: What did everyone do today?
Yesterday and today I worked on the plants that I have piles up in the yard to be worked with. A couple months ago I inherited two greenhouses worth of supplies. The greenhouses were too big to move here, so they were gifted to which ever community college that would move them. My husband and my neighbor work two or three mornings a week moving the contents over here to my house. I didn't even know the person who died, but he wanted his stuff to go to someone who would use it and carry on working with plants.
A few years ago there were cutback where I was working. I decided to retire early from the campus police job I was doing at LRC. I had my design business and lots of other stuff to do anyhow.
Somehow one of the things I ended up doing most was working with plants. I just kept on finding people who wanted their plants divided or who wanted to get rid of monkey grass or who wanted this taken ouf of their yard. And all the time I was cleaning in my yard which at that time was severely neglected.
I began to sell the extra plants on Ebay and Craigslist and made that into a little business that just keeps on growing.
My problems were not having enough pots and soil. Now I've got thousands of pots and about 2 dump trucks of potting soils and mulch to work with.
Every day I try to pot up at least 75 plants and get them in good shape to sell. When I get enough looking good I'll have another plant sell here in my backyard. It's a lot of work, but I've met some really nice people through working with the plants. And now it's time to start importing fall bulbs. Got to get my orders in for that real soon.
Each of my days are about the same anymore. Water, feed, and pot or repot plants during the day. At night work on new jewelry or knitwear patterns. Pack out orders to be picked up by UPS. Watch tv, sleep, start over again the next day.
At least it's peaceful and I have the neighbors and the net to keep me company any time I like.
