Okay, wtf. . .The forums are not only missing a few new members, but a lot of the threads and posts are gone.

Yeah, right now we're unsure if someone did this, or if the forums have made a mistake, but we will get to the bottom of it.

Yeah I saw that too and was wondering if the threads got too ugly and out of hand. Must be GV banning people already.

It's not me... although I deleted one of my own post. I started noticing some strange things both last night and this morning. I don't know what's going on.

I think, at some point, someone, somewhere, hit some kind of restore button, and it kicked the board back by a couple of days. That's what it LOOKS like. I can't tell for sure.

I'm going to update the board later tonight to phpBB3 so we can make sure this doesn't happen again.

That SHOULD solve the problem. We'll see.

That’s bizarre…

It could be something they do to try and get you to upgrade to a “pay” forum???

Just had to re-up my avatar.

Well, the thing is, if it goes well, I was actually going to upgrade to a pay forum. No sense paying for a forum that doesn't have at least 50 members though. But if it got above that I was going to just do the 6 month deal. It's pretty cheap actually.


Either way, I'll upgrade to phpBB3 tonight. Like I said.. it SHOULD solve the problem. It's more stable and secure than our current layout of phpBB2.

I have tickets to a movie tonight at 7:00pm. So I'll be out for a bit. When I get back I'll make the upgrade. I'm probably going to lock the forum up for about 2 hours while doing the upgrade, just to make sure nothing funny happens in the process.

So, probably between midnight and 2am, the board will be out of commission while maintinence is performed. Fortunately no one really posts during that time, so no one should even notice.

Just a heads up.

Also... fyi the board will most assuredly have a new layout after the upgrade... so be warned. If you come back and everything looks different... CALM DOWN.. yes you're still in the same place. Just a new layout.

Saw Harry Potter 6. I read all the books a good while back. I think the story is great. Movie was AMAZING.
