Welcome to the NEW Lenoir Forums.

This place is 10 million times better than the other forums. We can post pics, have bigger avatars, and custom signatures. There is no censorship, you may say ANYTHING YOU LIKE.

There is only ONE catch... you must register to post in the forums. It's quick, it's easy, and your information will be kept 100% safe. I give you my word.

You will notice many differences on this board. ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD. This board is a BILLION TIMES BETTER than the old Topix forum. After you've tried it for a few days, I'm SURE you'll agree.

One of the best new additions is... *GASP* the ability to edit your posts. I know I always like to go in and edit my posts sometimes... but the topix forum does not allow that. Thanks to me, you can now edit as much as you like.

Also, you'll see that double posts are a thing of the past.... ALSO your posts will appear the MOMENT you post them. No more having to wait 5 minutes for your posts to pop up.

Pictures and videos can be embedded. Text can be edited. We have smilies... and LOTS of other things. Also, if this forum is successful, I will include a CHAT BOX. So when people are on at the same time.. we can chat immediately.

There are a few rules however... any illegal activity will result in instant and IMMEDIATE banishment.

Other than that, feel free to scream at each other, scream at me... call me a shit head... you absolutely WILL NOT BE BANNED FOR ARGUING. This I promise.

Physical threats on the other hand will be dealt with SWIFTLY AND HARSHLY.

I'm not a total asshole though... if you mess up once, you will be warned. If you mess up twice, you will be banned for 1 week. Three times = one month... and 4 times (because the three strikes rule is lame) and you will be permanently banned. I think that's fair.

Once again, you will not be banned unless you post illegal activity on here... (IE credit card fraud, illegal pornography, identity theft, and sales of illegal substances or guns... etc... I think you get the point)... OR THREATS. Full on "I'm going to kill you" threats will be dealt will accordingly.

Also, new to this forum is "Reputation." If you like something someone says, you may give them a point of reputation. If you DISLIKE something someone says, you can take away a point of reputation. This ultimately will not affect your ability to post, or anything like that, but it will give other readers some insight into how well respected (or hated) you are in this forum.

Other than that, have fun. Let loose. Speak your peace.... but most of all.... ENJOY YOURSELF.

If you have ANY questions on how to edit signatures, or avatars.... or any questions in general.. please post them in THIS thread. I will answer them in a timely fashion, and will be glad to help you with any problems you may have.

I think I understand now why so many major U.S. cities have less traffic on topix than Lenoir! They obviously have organized their own forums and moved away from topix.

The only problem right now is, I'm having great difficulty promoting the board on Lenoir Topix to get people over here. Every time I post something about it, it gets deleted.

You'd think you could get people over here on the one simple selling point of not having to enter a stupid numeric code at the end of every post.

Well, I'd give it a little more time. Promote this link on your Myspace pages and FB if you have one. In the meantime, I'm going to think of something to argue with GV about.

I think I'm gonna scrap the 48 hour idea, and go for 7 days. If it's still operational after a week, then I'll give it another month.

I guess we're in beta right now.

Yeah man don't give up you never know I looked up topix.net and their website is valued at 3.48 million and i'm sure they didn't make it overnight. Who knows what the future might hold?
